Wildcat Chorus

Congratulations WBE Singing Wildcats!!!

On Wednesday, March 18th, the WBE Wildcat Chorus made the journey to GMEA’s District 2 Large Group Performance Evaluation held at Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, GA.  The singers had been preparing since January for this event.

The LPGE format has each performing group prepare two selections to be adjudicated by three selected judges.  The group’s performance is evaluated in seven different.

Tone – Pitch – Rhythm – Ensemble – Diction – Interpretation – Other Factors

The ratings range from “I” – Superior to “V” – Poor.

These seven scores are then averaged to determine each Judge’s rating.  All of the judges’ ratings are then averaged to determine the performing group’s overall rating.

The Singing Wildcats performed “The Erie Canal” arranged by Ruth Elaine Schram and “Peace Be With You” by Steve Kupperschmid and received a “I” (Superior) from each of the judges resulting in an overall LGPE Rating of “I”.

The students from WBE also represented the school in fine fashion when they stopped for lunch on the way home.  The manager of Krystal commented on how much he appreciated them eating at his establishment and how well behaved the students were.  Next door at Arby’s similar things were happening with the employees asking the students to sing for them.  They did!  Great behavior and great times for great students…

The Singing Wildcats want to thank Mr. Ard, the WBE Administration-Faculty and Staff, and their families for the support of the Singing Wildcats.

GREAT JOB WBE WILDCAT CHORUS!!!
